Abstract/Notes

Two cases of spinal nerve-root Schwannomas, initially diagnosed as intervertebral disc herniations, are presented. Both were surgically excised after being located using myelography and CT scans. A review of the literature, with emphasis on the differential diagnosis of Schwannoma from herniated intervertebral disc, is included.
