Abstract/Notes

Cervical disc calcification is a rare cause of neck pain in children. Although the clinical and radiographic presentations are striking, the symptoms and radiological findings spontaneously subside without any long-term sequelae. Once diagnosed, conservative management consists of education and reassurance. A case of cervical intervertebral disc calcification in a 15-year-old boy is presented to illustrate the benign nature of this condition.
