Objective: To describe the case of a patient with brachioradial pruritus seeking care at a chiropractic clinic.
Clinical Features: A 47-year-old established female patient presented to the clinic with neck stiffness and bilateral itching of the upper extremities after being on a cruise. Several factors in patient history and presentation raised concern of the diagnosis of brachioradial pruritus.
Intervention and Outcome: The patient was treated with conservative care involving cervical manipulation and manual therapy. After several visits, the patient had a positive response to care and the itching symptoms were resolved.
Conclusion: This case report highlights the successful treatment of brachioradial pruritus utilizing conservative management. Further research should be conducted to determine evidence-based treatment guidelines for the management of brachioradial pruritus.
