Abstract: In 2017, the American Cancer Society accounted over 1.5 million new cases of cancer and over half a million cancer-related deaths in the U.S. alone.1 These statistics expose two facts: first, the current standards of medicine offer very little help in directing the public towards effective cancer prevention, and second, the likelihood of survival provided by the current standards are grim.
