A discussion of the early history of applied kinesiology provides perspective regarding MMT in diagnosis and treatment. Applied kinesiology is a system of diagnosis that utilizes the MMT response as a reflection of the status of the AHMN. It might be succinctly stated that the fundamental objective of this system of diagnosis is the evaluation and correction of nervous system irritation through the application of "natural therapies" designed to remove noxious irritants and restore normal neurological expression, thereby aiding in the promotion of health and the prevention of disease.
The QA Clinical Protocol is ‘a physiologically based, basic science driven, neurological hierarchy for the ordered application of clinical procedures and techniques.’
