Abstract/Notes

Environmental chemicals known as thyroid-disrupting chemicals (TDCs) can negatively affect thyroid function.  These chemicals are ubiquitous in our environment resulting in abnormal thyroid physiology.  This paper covers each known thyroid-disrupting chemical and how it alters thyroid hormone production, conversion, and receptor activation.
