Abstract/Notes

While cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the number one health concern in the United States, as well as the entire planet, and is widely understood as a solitary condition.  In reality, there are many factors that contribute to CVD.  Oxidative stress, blood sugar dis-regulation, dietary habits, exercise, lipid metabolism, microbiota and genetic factors all play a roll in the development of CVD.  It is the intent of this paper to shed light on many of the concomitant dysfunctions and conditions that lead to the development of this global killer and to give safe therapeutic options for the prevention and treatment of CVD.
