Abstract/Notes

When our patients don't respond as we expect them to, should we look at the possibility of hidden heavy metal toxicity?  As health care providers we gather information from our patients during the consultation and examination.  We are then able to form a working diagnosis.  However, what we do when the best results don't confirm our hypothesis, separates us from the rest of the crowd.  We can order tests to help support or disprove the diagosis.  As we analyze these test results, we are then able to formulate a program to help our patients in regaining their health.
