Abstract/Notes

This report suggests a significant positive association of vitamin C consumption and skin disorders. Additionally, there is some evidence to indicate that those subjects who increase the daily vitamin C intake reduce the number of clinical skin findings. In contrast, those individuals who do not increase their daily vitamin C consumption show no significant change in the mean number of skin findings.

It is noteworthy that the cutaneous findings reported here with vitamin C irrespective of sugar, parallel the observations earlier described with sugar irrespective of vitamin C.
