Abstract/Notes

Although the number of new units involved in the change to the International System of Units (SI) in general health profession practices is relatively small, several important factors are involved in their practical use. In order to insure the greatest possible uniformity of informational presentation, the following discussion on "Practical Application" and "Standardized Reporting of Labortory Results" is taken essentially verbatim from the booklet, "The SI for the Health Professions," published by the Wolrd Health Organization.

Author affiliation: From the National College of Chiropractic. Professor of Clinical Sciences
