The diagnosis and treatment of common knee disorders of the elderly are discussed. Relevant manipulative and physiological therapeutics are emphasized. Osteoarthritis is one of the most common disorders of the elderly knee and is described in detail, including data from a small retrospective clinical study. The author emphasizes the effectivenss of the logical application of conservative care in many of the disorders discussed.
