This paper is designed to reacquaint the physician with the varying aspects of migraine - classification, accompanying symptoms, diagnosis, leading theories of etiology and treatment, Emphasis in treatment is on nonallopathic methods; especially on prophylactic supplementation procedures germane to the serotonin theory. Four cases of migraine which had resisted all previous forms of allopathic and chiropractic treatment and were subsequently placed on supplementation procedures, are presented.
