Objective: To report on the outcomes of two infertile women undergoing chiropractic care who also underwent in vitro fertilization.
Clinical Features: Case one is a 34-year-old Caucasian female presenting with chief complaints of neck stiffness and discomfort and a history of infertility. Case two is a 28-year-old Caucasian female presenting for care with a painful extremity symptoms with a history of failed in vitro fertilization.
Intervention and Outcomes: Both patients received care utilizing the framework of Bio Geometric Integration and Diversified spinal adjustments. The patients were adjusted at a frequency each week based on their functional outcomes and re-evaluated every 30 days. In case one, the patient underwent in vitro fertilization resulting in a successful pregnancy and full term baby. In case two, the patient became pregnant on her second attempt at in vitro fertilization that also resulted in pregnancy.
Conclusion: This case series provides evidence that successful in vitro fertilization may be associated with chiropractic care utilizing the framework of Bio Geometric Integration.
