ACA's recent action against Trigon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Virginia and the national Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association is a culmination and continuation of chiropractic's long-standing struggle against discriminatory policies enacted by Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans. The following is a timeline of events prepared in order to offer a historical perspective on the economic and legal struggle doctors of chiropractic have been forced to engage in with Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans.
