Abstract/Notes

It has now been approximately two months since I wrote part I of this series and, thanks to William and Kate, Osama Bin Ladin, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver, Harold Camping (Google this name if you do not recognize it), and, most recently, Anthony Weiner and a whole host of other headline grabbers, the Japanese earthquake of March 11, 2011 and the tsunami that followed have virtually disappeared from the front pages of newspapers and newsmagazines, plus the home pages of all the Internet news reporting sites that continue to proliferate.
