Excerpt: The Clinical Practice Guideline Initiative (CCGIwas launched by the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) and the Canadian Federation of Chiropractic Regulatory and Education Accrediting Boards (CFCREAB or Federation) over a decade ago to develop clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) to improve delivery of chiropractic care in Canada. CPGs aim to describe appropriate care based on the best available scientific evidence and broad consensus while promoting efficient use of resources.
