Abstract/Notes

Recently, Shorewood Osteopathic Hospital in Seattle, Washington, granted staff privileges to doctors of chiropractic.   In so doing, it became the second hospital in a major city to grant this type of recognition which allows chiropractors to admit and serve patients within the hospital environemnt, and work side by side with their medical or ostoepathic counterparts.

To learn the inside details of how this program came to pass, how it works and its implications in terms of the hospital, the staff and chiropractic's future,  the ACA journal asked Mr. Irv Davis, ACA's public relations consultant, to set up an exclusive interview with some of the principals in this positive action.
