The following article first appeared in the April 1984 issue of Esquire Magazine.  Written by Barbara Kevles, a well-known journalist, it gives chiropractic, and more importantly the public, a view of modern chiropractic as it is being seen by enlightened journalists.   The article is being reprinted through special permission from Esquire and its author, Barbra Kevles.
