John Ward, DC, MA, MS, and colleagues investigate the effects of two different sports drinks on performance. Mahesh Sabade, MD, presents an unusual case report describing the beneficial effects of Ayurvedic medicine on a patient with hepatic encephalopathy. Kathryn Hoiiris, DC, and Brent Russell, MS, DC, present a case report in which a patient under chiropractic management for intermittent claudication was appropriately referred by the chiropractic physician for surgical implantation of stents.
