Abstract/Notes

The International College of Applied Kinesiology made the following Status Statement of Applied Kinesiology at its 1983 annual meeting.  The statement points out that the use of manual muscle testing in the discipline of applied kinesiology must be correlated with other diagnostic factors as taught in general diagnostic procedures in the healing arts colleges and by diplomats of the ICAK.  A differentiation should be made between those who are using manual muscle testing in a limited manner from those who practice the discipline of applied kinesiology in combination with the disciplines of physical and laboratory diagnosis.  The official body of the International College of Applied Kinesiology recommends that the use of manual muscle testing as a diagnostic factor be practiced in harmony with usual diagnostic and laboratory procedures.
