Abstract/Notes	So far, as you may have noticed, this examination of published iodine research as it relates to Guy Abraham's world view of dietary and supplemental iodine has offered very little conflict or disagreement. Why? As I have suggested in the last two newsletters, a large body of credible research strongly supports two of Abraham's primary issues of contention. First, there appears to be little disagreement that iodine deficiency is a major health concern worldwide. Second, a large body of research makes it clear that iodine plays a major role in human physiology outside of thyroid function, particularly in relation to breast health. However, as you will see, the discussion in this newsletter on the epidemiologic basis for Abraham's claims will take on a much more contentious overtone.
