Excerpt: In a world beset with negatives and equivocation, it is a pleasant change to be in a position to recognise achievement that requires no caveats or qualification … and to be able to do it not once but twice! Firstly, the ending of something that has been a feature of Clinical Chiropractic, almost since its current incarnation. When the editorial board's radiological advisor, Michelle Wessely, suggested commissioning a series of articles to help clinicians understand, interpret and clinically correlate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), I do not think that anyone anticipated that the series would encompass 18 articles and 10 authors. As the series draws to a close, it feels rather like saying goodbye to an old and familiar friend; I have learnt an extraordinary amount of radiology merely from editing the tour de force and the articles have, I know, contributed to continuing professional development of hundreds of healthcare professionals from inside and outside the chiropractic profession.
