Abstract/Notes Excerpt: The national library for health complementary and alternative medicine specialist library (www.library.nhs.uk/cam) is a free, one-stop shop on the Web for all healthcare professionals who need information on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). It aims to be the quickest and easiest way to keep abreast of all the best evidence and information available, regularly updated, evaluated and filtered for quality and organised for easy access. It includes quality assured, relevant and essential information for healthcare and CAM professionals, patients, and the general public. It ‘went live’ in May 2006.

The CAM specialist library is one of the 26 specialist libraries of the national library for health
