Abstract/Notes Excerpt: As buzzwords go CAM (Complementary or Alternative Medicine) has attracted considerable public attention. CAM is a loose term encompassing a wide range of therapies, basically anything that is not medical regardless of its established merit. One common definition in the U.S. medical literature is "those practices neither taught widely in United States medical schools nor generally available in United States hospitals." This paper will explore whether chiropractic should be a part of the CAM phenomenon.
