Abstract/Notes This case deals with the avascular necrosis or osteonecrosis of the femoral head in a 41-year-old male presenting to a chiropractor's office. In addition to the clinical picture, diagnostic imaging should be performed to confirm the presence and extent of hip avascular necrosis. Referral to an orthopedic specialist is key and treatment is mainly surgical.
