Abstract/Notes This case report describes the case of a 31-year-old male marathon runner with right knee and hip pain and associated right sacroiliac joint dysfunction. The biomechanical and neurological relationships between joints of the lower extremity and pelvis are discussed including injuries within the kinetic chain.
